To join an institute or a university offering a training program in sports management, students must have the Bac. In this case, the course lasts three years. However, it is possible to follow the training for those who have a DUT or a BTS in management, the equivalent of a Bac +2. The course lasts only one year for holders of this type of diploma. Admission is by file selection in the majority of cases, but some institutes may request a level test and a motivation interview. The purpose of the interview is to determine whether the student’s profile corresponds to the content of the training provided and to know his professional project.
The main subjects taught
In the Bachelor in Sports Management training, lessons are focused on subjects such as marketing, management, languages, communication, and sports trade, to ensure the versatility of future graduates. These subjects are taught mainly during the first two years of the program, in the common core. In the third year, on the other hand, others are added to the basic ones for further study, and above all to give students the opportunity to specialize in a field such as sports marketing, sports event management, sports project management.
Continuation of studies
